5 Reasons To See Like A Boss At VIVA Cinemas

What happens when the bonds of a longtime friendship is tried in the face of reviving a failing company?

Like A Boss is a comedic take on the many dynamics that single women experience and how they are able to navigate differences to surmount challenges.

If you’re looking for a funny and an overall entertaining experience, then Like a Boss should be your ‘Go To’ movie this weekend!

Here are five reasons why you should be seeing Like A Boss this weekend…

1.) Porter’s Extra:

Billy Porter is one not to avoid the spotlight as he recently did at the Grammies.

The performer’s ability to consistently take on challenging acts – essentially absorbing the pressure that comes with attention and shine through it, is what has made Porter quite ‘The figure’.

In Like A Boss, we get the same glimpse of what is to come, as he deftly executes his ‘tragic moment’ masterpiece in the  movie’s trailer.

We can trust Billy Porter for lots more in the entire run-time of the movie which makes Like A Boss a must-watch!

2.) Tiffany Haddish’s Comedy:

Tiffany had appeared in a number of TV shows, but she became a household name after starring in the Mega-hit, Girls Trip.

The Stand-Up comedian is known for her offbeat kind of comedy that has seen her build a large following from comedy shows,  TV Series and movies.

In this way, we are on for some really entertaining movie experience considering for perspective, two other actors who are also simultaneous comedians – Kevin Hart and Eddie Murphy

3.) Byrne’s Experience:

A quick mention of Rose Byrne reminds us of the Bridesmaids – another female led comedy movie, that thrilled movie critics and general audiences alike!

Rose played ‘Helen’ in the Bridesmaids and her portrayal of the character played its part in how it has come to be classed as an ‘all time marriage classic movie’.

Like A Boss gives Rose a chance to replicate her success in Bridesmaids and we all would be here, waiting to see her do her thing!

4.) Miguel Arteta’s Skills:

His movies, including The Motel, Chuck and Buck, Cedar Rapids, The Good Girl and In Good Company  were all high on the Tomatometer, an indication of generally favorable reviews.

Miguel’s gift in screenplay does not stop at movies as he also directed some notable TV Shows that has often gotten a nod from critics. Notable mentions include; Succession, Ugly Betty, Getting On, Freaks and Geeks and New Girl.

With such a portfolio, Miguel has stamped himself as a dependable force, and seeing another movie he directs would be great on all levels.

The Oscar nominated actress for her role in Frida‘, is another joy to watch as she plays ‘Claire Luna’ in Like A Boss.

Salma has had herself play pretty interesting roles over the years and the fact that she is still relevant in Hollywood gives us an idea of just how much she has got to offer the big screen.

Watching as she deftly bosses over Mel and Mia (played by Rose Byrne and Tiffany Haddish) would be intriguing and entertaining.
