Who’s The Boss, another installment in the Inkblot productions movie gallery, promises to leave audiences thrilled as it takes a different dynamic, making this movie differ from the more recent Nollywood releases.

5 Reasons to see Who's the Boss at VIVA Cinemas

Here are five reasons to see Who’s The Boss this weekend…

1.) Merger Across the acting Spectrum:

Sharon Ooja, Funke Akindele

Who’s The Boss features a merger of veteran actors like Funke Akindele-Bello and Segun Arinze with newer stars, such as Sharon Ooja and Ini Dima-Okojie.

While it is not the first time this has happened in Nollywood, it is indeed one of the few times that the newer actors play major character roles.

Such interesting blend would indeed make for an upbeat story execution that would leave diverse audiences satisfied.

2.) First Person Narrative Style:

Movies such as The Shawshank Redemption, The Wolf of Wall street and the award raking newbie; Parasite, are all examples of how first person narratives can become thoroughly loved across a variety of movie lovers.

This however is not a popular system with Nollywood, which makes Who’s The Boss a set apart in crafting a novel experience for Nollywood fans.

Make that two points for why Who’s The Boss is indeed unique!

3.) Inkblot Productions – A Force!:

Considering that The Wedding Party 1 & 2, UpNorth amongst others were co-produced by Inkbot Productions – which is already a heavy list.

This list features the highest grossing Nollywood movie of all time, which makes us pretty sure that Who’s The Boss will be following in those footsteps.

4.) Employee or Side hustle?:

Side Hustle. An angle in Inkblot's Who's the Boss

Who’s The Boss offers insights into the lives of many Nigerians who are employees but have one or two other sources of income to either flex creative muscles or to make more money or both.

In this way, Who’s The Boss  picks a very relatable subject and expands a narrative on its basis.

We can easily see where Li’ah (played by Sharon Ooja) is coming from and take cues on how to navigate the work environment in the best ways to yield the best benefit to all.

5.) Owning our Stories:

Own your Story - Who's The Boss

Chinaza Onuzo, Director of the movie was quoted saying, ‘We are the hero of our own story. We just have to find the courage to tell it’.

That essentially surmises the idea that Who’s The Boss is bringing to the fore. The idea that in the end e have a story to tell.

This in itself is a motivation to pursue excellence, exude confidence and persevere in adverse conditions because of course, we all have a story to tell, and that story better have a happy ending!

So are you in for just the right dose of motivation to keep pushing you through? Then seeing Who’s The Boss would be a great idea! 💡
